Morning Update (11/28/10)

• On Tuesday, the Runnin' Tigers will put their 2-0 record on the line as they tip off District 15-4A play at home against Waxahachie. The Lady Tigers also will be in action at Waxahachie.

• In a cooperative effort between the Kaufman Chamber of Commerce and the Kaufman Economic Development Corporation, bus service for transportation around that city is tentatively scheduled for a Dec. 1 start, according to Ann Glasscock, president of the chamber. The bus, which will be made to appear as a trolley, will be on a fixed route, making Kaufman one of the first small towns in the state to have such a transportation option.

• Mesquite Poteet remained alive in the Class 4A high school football playoffs, rolling up 500 yards of total offense in a 45-21 win over Highland Park.

Hope you're all having a wonderful holiday weekend.
