Lady Tigers volleyball

The THS Lady Tigers had a tough night taking on Forney at the THS Athletic Complex on Tuesday... look for game summaries in Thursday's Terrell Tribune.

Mesquite Poteet will be in town on Friday with a 5:30 p.m. varsity start time at the THS Athletic Complex.

It is probably cooler inside, but...

The work is going on in the parking lot.

THS Band students are hard at work at their own "two-a-days," prepping this year's James Bond themed halftime show.

Volleyball players are also working this week and football practice starts bright and early Monday morning.

TEA, TAKS, TEKS, APY, EOC... What is accountability anyway?

TISD's Lauren Johnson took time out of her busy day to give me the lowdown on Terrell's "Academically Acceptable" rating from the Texas Education Agency for an article for Thursday's Tribune.

If you want to see the ratings first-hand they can be viewed here.

Deciphering what they actually mean is another matter altogether.

The good news, by Johnson's estimation, is that Terrell was only about 80 passing students away from being "Recognized" as a district.
