TEA, TAKS, TEKS, APY, EOC... What is accountability anyway?

TISD's Lauren Johnson took time out of her busy day to give me the lowdown on Terrell's "Academically Acceptable" rating from the Texas Education Agency for an article for Thursday's Tribune.

Deciphering what they actually mean is another matter altogether.

The good news, by Johnson's estimation, is that Terrell was only about 80 passing students away from being "Recognized" as a district.
