Baseball gets victory

The Terrell High School baseball team notched their first District 15-4A victory with a 7-3 win over West Mesquite on Tuesday.

Cody Weishaar doubled on the game's first pitch and scored two batters later to give the Tigers the lead. Terrell never trailed in the game.

Terrell hosts Lancaster 7 p.m. Friday night at Ben Gill Park.
