A story I've been watching unfold over in the Mesquite area will likely soon have an impact on Kaufman County.
In a nutshell, the City of Mesquite is looking to annex more than 1,200 acres along Interstate 20 in Kaufman County. As pointed out in the article by the Mesquite News, some Forney area folks who aren't too happy about become Mesquite residents.
