Kaufman County's election department has released totals from early voting and 15 precincts. Results are below:
U.S. Rep., District 5
Jeb Hensarling, Rep - 9,241 votes (75.14 percent)
Tom Berry, Dem - 2,832 votes (23.02 percent)
Ken Ashby, Lib - 225 votes (1.83 percent)
Texas Senate, District 2
Bob Deuell, Rep - 9,168 votes (74.85 percent)
Kathleen Shaw, Dem - 3,081 votes (25.15 percent)
County Clerk
Laura Hughes, Rep - 9,533 votes (77 percent)
Sophia Clemon, Dem - 2,847 (23 percent)
JP Precinct 1
Eric Williams, Rep - 1,863 votes (60.57 percent)
Johnny Perry, Dem - 1,213 votes (39.43 percent)
