KAUFMAN - Terrell secured its third consecutive District 23-4A win Friday night, but suffered a big loss heading into Monday's showdown with Forney.
The Lady Tigers (11-3-1, 3-0 in district) used an aggressive offense Friday en route to a 3-1 win over Kaufman at Lions Stadium. Two of Terrell’s goal came off the foot of top scorer Mollie Tolbert, who unfortunately exited the game late in the second half when she received her second yellow card. The penalty, which was handed down for excessive celebration, means Tolbert will have to sit out Monday’s match against Forney, the district’s only other unbeaten team.
