The Terrell Lady Tigers travel to Red Oak at 7:30 p.m. for a huge game with Red Oak.
It is critical for positioning in the playoff race, where the Lady Tigers still have a chance.
Terrell stands 5-5 in distrct play while Red Oak stands 7-4. A win brings the Lady Tigers in a virtual deadlock for the last playoff spot with only five games to go.
A loss puts the Lady Tigers basically three games back with five to play, Red Oak has already gotten the upperhand by virtue of their 53-48 victory over the Lady Tigers Dec., 12 at The Complex.
In that game, Terrell fell behind by as many as ten points after leading at the half.
It was only the third loss at home for Terrell this season besides Lancaster and Mesquite Poteet.
Terrell has lost only two district road games all season and that was a close shave at West Mesquite four days before Christmas. They have defeated Ennis, Forney and Waxahachie on the road.
After the first Red Oak game, Coach Mike Halac vowed his team "would be ready for Red Oak the next time."
That next time is here and the stakes could not be any higher.
