District 15 for boys basketball is home to three of the top
seven scorers of Class 4A area schools.
Terrell's Jherrod Stiggers is seventh with 18.4 ppg.
Forney's Derrick Fain is sixth with 18.5 ppg.
Ennis's Jordan Mason stands fifth at 22.1 ppg.
Ironically, last week Stiggers and Fain squared off in
a scoring shootout that never materialized.
Stiggers scored 13 points while Fain scored 17.
Terrell and Forney split the season series 1-1 thanks to
the Tigers 57-45 victory last week in Forney.
Mason is scoring at this pace for a 22-4 Ennis team that
seems to find a way to win games. They won't win any style points
but they win games.
Terrell and Ennis square-off Feb. 8th in Ennis. The Lions already own
a 62-61 win in Terrell.
